And Saturn sat on me for one revolution around the sun.
When it left I made my way past Jupiter in a run.
I skinned my shin slipping while skipping over Mars
Only to run right past Earth, distracted by some stars.
I fainted out of frustration and wound up beyond Neptune.
I sat contemplating, raging while by me Pluto zoomed.
Saturn didn't see me as I floated just behind Titan
And made my way back to Earth, hopeful in my flight.
But when I stepped down to the surface, landing on a mountain,
I noticed something off completely and felt my sights confounded.
God had given this planet life, a lesser species than my own.
And they chopped and hacked each other, through flesh and through bone.
I took it upon myself to insite an insurrection.
So I called out to the Protectors, "Come witness, my brethren!"
We made the beasts adore us more than God,
But he cast them down with floods, and our blood he begot.
So I rest upon my bloodied throne, having seen the resurrection.
God can have his son of Man, but we must abide discretion.
Can a creature made of love expect to withhold his passions?
When God himself has bent his law, his judgement with no action.
So I whisper softly through your ear, into your heart a'beating,
"Join me, love me, embrace me dearly", words forever fleeting.
"I am one of God's creatures", I swear to you as you sleep
And you whisper back, "Then take me, take me to the deep."
